Little Rascals is definitely geared towards the younger set, as in infants up to maybe six years old. It's small, but sufficient for the little ones, and the management keep it nice and clean. Every time I've gone, it's been very quiet, so that's a bonus in my opinion.
I wouldn't dream of taking my older kids there; they'd be bored out of their minds.
There's a little baby area, and then a play structure for the slightly bigger kids. They have a few toys and some books, as well. The bathrooms have slippers for parents and kids so their feet don't get cold on the tile floor.
My daughter attended a party there a few months back and had a great time. They overlap parties, so towards the end, a group of older kids -- maybe 6 or 7 -- came in for a party, and they seemed too big for the place. I was amused, however, at the little boy who kept running past me whispering "bad words," thinking he'd shock me. It was actually pretty cute in a weird sort of way.
I'm considering holding my daughter's fourth birthday party here in a couple of months, but one thing holding me back is the length: they're two and a half hours. When it comes to parties, less is more. Especially for the parents who will inevitably stay for this age group.
